Ramen Music cover + Pencil Bag interview

You may remember a couple months ago when I posted my first cover illustration for Ramen Music, I mentioned I’d already agreed to do another one for them. Well here it is! Click on the image to see a slightly larger version. Or you can just take a peek at some close up details down below…

Oh, also! My awesome friend MarĂ© Odomo recently interviewed me for this great new project he’s launching, PENCIL BAG. It’s a cartoonist interview site. I talk about the tools I use to make stuff, my studio set up, the food I eat and the music I listen to. Good stuff. Here’s a little self-portrait I drew to go with my interview…

And just for kicks, here’s a peek at what my current drawing space looks like…

Okay! That’s all for now!

Phil & Phil

A little doodle from this past weekend in Toronto. Canzine was a blast! Thanks so much to everyone that stopped by, to the Broken Pencil people for hosting a great show (loved the new venue), to Annie K for dinner and fun, to Aviv for letting me tag along on Monday, and most of all to Vicki and Britt for being the best table mates and for letting me sleep on their couch for the millionth time.

Image stolen from blogto.com!Vicki is totally man enough. (photo stolen from this article!)

And here is something that I drew as the cover for a new mini comic, This & That #3, which I will have with me in a week at the MoCCA Art Fest.

This & That 3

I’ve been printing and folding these tiny comic books for a few days now as well. The comic is called “Snowman With A Robot Head” and it’s about 1.25″ tall and in full color. This photo makes them look bigger than they actually are, I feel.
